Calle de Palencia is situated in Madrid's Tetuán district, specifically in the Bellas Vistas neighborhood, which is located towards the north of the city center. While Calle de Palencia itself is more residential, the wider Tetuán district offers cultural and recreational activities. This includes local parks, theaters, and shopping areas. The larger Parque de Santander is also relatively close, featuring a large green space with a running track, sports facilities, and a small lake. Various restaurants and cafes are serving Spanish cuisine, as well as several international food outlets reflecting the multicultural nature of the neighborhood. Additionally, several supermarkets and smaller grocery stores provide ingredients for home cooking.
